We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website, as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data regularly takes place only after the user’s consent. An exception applies in cases where obtaining prior consent is not possible for practical reasons and the processing of data is permitted by legal regulations.

Collection and Storage of Personal Data and the Type and Purpose of Their Use

a) When Visiting the Website
When you access our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • Website from which access is made (referrer URL),
  • The browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the purposes listed above for data collection. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data to draw conclusions about your person.

b) Use of Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in the Internet browser or by the Internet browser on the user’s computer system. When a user visits a website, a cookie may be stored on the user's operating system. This cookie contains a characteristic string that allows the browser to be uniquely identified when the website is revisited.

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some elements of our website require that the calling browser can be identified even after a page change.

In our technical implementation, Vercel Web Analytics is loaded only after you have given your consent. The processing is therefore based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings.

Transfer to Vercel
The data is transferred to Vercel. Processing outside the European Economic Area cannot be excluded. For international transfers, Vercel uses the appropriate safeguards provided for this purpose, in particular standard contractual clauses where required.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Measurement using property ID G-LHVZXDXPVL is activated only after you have expressly consented to statistics. Google Analytics processes, in particular, page views and events as well as information about referrers, approximate location, browser, and device.

Cookies
Google Analytics 4 uses, in particular, the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_<Measurement-ID> to distinguish users and sessions. According to Google, the default expiration period is up to two years; browsers may limit this period.

IP addresses
According to Google, IP addresses are not logged or stored in Google Analytics 4. For users in the EU, EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the IP address may be used at collection to determine an approximate location and is then discarded.

Legal basis
The processing is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Section 25 (1) TDDDG also applies to storing and accessing information on your device. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings.

Data transfers to third countries
Google may process the collected information in the USA or other third countries. For such transfers, Google uses the appropriate safeguards provided for this purpose, in particular an adequacy decision such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or standard contractual clauses.

Storage period
The storage period is configured in the Google Analytics property. For the use described here, the retention period is 14 months; the setting in the property must match this value.

Withdrawal
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings. After withdrawal, no further Google Analytics data will be collected through this website.

Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console, a service provided by Google LLC, to monitor the technical discoverability and search performance of our website and to identify errors and opportunities for improvement. Google Search Console does not set analytics cookies on our website and is not used to track the behavior of individual visitors. Google processes website search and performance data in the Search Console interface, including clicks, impressions, search queries, countries, and traffic sources. The processing is based on our legitimate interest under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in the technical optimization and error analysis of our website.
